NFL Free Agent Frenzy Has Fans Forgetting The Lockout

Anyone remember the anger football fans had at that little football work stoppage? Anyone even recall the lockout? I sure as hell don't, because I don't have time. Especially not with all the undrafted free agents being signed, all the veterans getting cut, all the draft picks signing, the trades, the free agent movement, all the rumors, training camps are opening, all NFL 24/7 and you know what, I love it!

Anyone remember the anger football fans had at that little football work stoppage?  Anyone even recall the lockout?  I sure as hell don’t, because I don’t have time. Especially not with all the undrafted free agents being signed, all the veterans getting cut, all the draft picks signing, the trades, the free agent movement, all the rumors, training camps are opening, all NFL 24/7 and you know what, I love it!

I intended to write a little piece spotlighting some of the free agents changing teams, but then some trades started to catch my eye, but then the draft picks started to get under contract, but then some big names were being released, but then I realized there was no way I could try and keep up with the newsworthy player news. Where would I start?  By the time this piece would be published, there’d be 2 or 3 bigger players changing addresses.

There’s wall to wall news coverage of everything going on in the NFL. The Major League Baseball trade deadline is nearing, some big trades have went down, but it’s barley making a blip in the sports world.

Had the lockout stolen us fans of some real games, I think there would have been a little backlash, but with nothing really lost except the Hall Of Fame Game, fans are simply Ready For Some Football.
