10 Characters Who Could Appear In Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3

The CW's Legends of Tomorrow is a gift for DC fans. As a time-travelling show that stars a bunch of lesser-known characters from the DC universe, it frequently brings in heroes that no one else is really doing anything else with. For instance, season 1 played with people like Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Jonah Hex, while season 2 introduced the Justice Society of America.

After Keanu Reeves was miscast in the 2003 movie, Matt Ryan was the perfect choice to play John Constatine, Hellblazer, in the 2014 Constantine TV series. Thanks to Ryan’s popularity, the character was brought into the Arrowverse in an episode of Arrow‘s fourth season. While that was great, it’s a real shame that he hasn’t been seen since. Come on, you know he’s just crying out for an appearance in Legends of Tomorrow season 3.

Sure, we’ve got an upcoming animated miniseries starring the character to look forward to, which shows that Constantine’s role in the Arrowverse is not yet over, but why not have Ryan reprise the part in live-action first, to remind audiences of the character before his webseries comes out? It would be a clever publicity tactic and a welcome return for a cult favourite. Besides, Legends began to dip into the mystical last season with the Spear of Destiny, so why not introduce a sorcerer into the mix the next time around?
