6) Black Widow

Promises have been made that a Black Widow movie will happen somewhere down the line, but it doesn’t appear as if there’s any real movement on that front. Given the calibre of stars Netflix attracts, there’s really no reason why Scarlett Johansson couldn’t take on the role here instead, especially as a six or eight part series exploring her past would arguably be infinitely more satisfying that what a movie could deliver.

Marvel would need to spend some money on it (especially if the likes of Nick Fury and Hawkeye were to show up), but given the demand for more Black Widow, it’s an investment which would no doubt pay off for them in a big way. Another advantage of making this happen would also be that it would bring the mainstream Marvel Cinematic Universe potentially one step closer to merging with the world of The Defenders.
