9) Daenerys

Surely Daenerys is unstoppable? Forget her army of Unsullied and Dothraki, respectively the best footsoldiers and cavalry in the Thrones world. Forget that she has the Tyrells, as well as all of Dorne backing her, or that she now has the best naval fleet courtesy of the Greyjoys. Daenerys Targaryen would do a pretty fine job of conquering Westeros with just her dragons – the Game of Thrones equivalent of WMDs – alone.

So, the strength is with Daenerys, and so far she’s conquered everyone in her path with (relative) ease. We must remember this is Game of Thrones, however. No one is invincible, and those who are on top of the world in one episode can be defeated in the next. Right now it seems Daenerys has perhaps the most potential to be ruler of Westeros after all the dust has settled, but the show’s creators are bound to have surprises up their sleeves yet.
