What a time to be a DC fan! Yesterday, news dropped that Warner Bros. Digital Network will launch a new DC digital service in 2018. While the contents of the service are mostly a mystery, details were revealed about two new series: Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders. Obviously, it's like Christmas in April, but everyone is still asking, what other superhero shows could be in the pipeline for this new service?

Much like Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond proved to be an outright success. The characters have become beloved and the storylines so popular that they’ve found their way into an ongoing titular comic book series. It’s a franchise that continues to be popular 18 years later and shows no signs of letting up.

Talks of a live-action adaptation have cooled over the years, though, so it would make sense to revisit the animated show again if the possibility presents itself. Considering all the developments in the comic book series recently, there’s a lot of new material for the producers to draw inspiration from.

Imagine this: a Batman power hour, featuring Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond, on this new platform. We might as well go ahead and cancel all our social plans forever, because this would take over our lives.
