7 Questions We Want Answered In The Doctor Who Season 10 Finale

This past Saturday night saw the jaws of Doctor Who fans across the world unanimously hit the floor as the latest episode aired. "World Enough and Time" was always going to be a special one, as it was the lead in to the big finale of the Peter Capaldi era - with both Capaldi and current showrunner Steven Moffat leaving after this year's annual Christmas special. But with two Masters, some old Cybermen and a possible emotional exit for current companion Bill, it was even more special than expected.

5) Will Missy Turn Bad Again?

Speaking of the self-styled Queen of Evil, this episode dealt with the intriguing idea of Missy turning good. Over the past few outings, she’s shown signs of truly wanting redemption and maybe getting her psychotic insanity under control. Things seem to go to plan at first here as well, as she’s able to aid (and impersonate) the Doctor. Though not without a heavy helping of sass.

When her old self turns up, though, she seems to revert to type and is seen standing by the Master’s side at the end. The pair might as well have been cackling away with John Simm twirling his moustache. But has Missy fully converted back to the dark side? The trailers for next episode suggest that the Doctor will still fight to convince her to stand at his side instead. Will he succeed?

Alternatively, was Missy ever good? Or was her alliance with the Doctor and apparent change of heart all part of a big evil scheme she had concocted? Maybe even with John Simm’s Master? Seeing as next week will reportedly be the last time we see Michelle Gomez in the show, Missy is sure to have some sort of explosive ending.
