6 Ways That Stranger Things Messed Up Its Timeline

Stranger Things took the internet by storm when it premiered on Netflix this summer, earning rave reviews and quickly amassing a fanbase that was gripped by its compelling story and intrigued by the mystery surrounding it. With a second season now confirmed, and questions already starting to arise as to many of the things that were left unanswered at the end of the first outing, anticipation is certainly high for a second serving of Netflix’s gem.

While we’re just as enamored with the show as most people are, we can also admit that it wasn’t perfect. It may seem like nitpicking, but Stranger Things did manage to mess up a couple of things, such as its timeline. For those who’ve seen it, you’ll know full well that it takes place in 1983, yet at several points, you can catch glimpses of items that didn’t exist yet.

Of course, none of these goofs are detrimental to the show, and we still love Stranger Things to death, but it’s always fun to find errors that the cast and crew may have missed – no matter how small or inconsequential they may be.

So, on that note, take a look at the video above for 6 ways in which the Duffer Brothers messed up their timeline while creating the series and let us know in the comments section if you were able to catch any of these mistakes on your own.
