The year is 2015 and we’ve already had five Spider-Man films in the span of 15 years (two of them were reboots). Do you really want another one once 2017 rolls around?

Don’t get me wrong, I love the character and I think he’s great, but why waste a film opportunity on him when you could be focusing those efforts and production costs on characters such as Black Panther and Ms. Marvel? Two characters who are going to get films but have now been pushed back because of Marvel’s love for Spider-Man.

That kinda stinks if you ask me. It’s not like he wouldn’t work on a Netflix budget, either. In fact, he’d actually do really well. Not to mention it’d be really cool to see him interact with characters such as Daredevil and Luke Cage.

Here’s to hoping Marvel decides to change their game plan and puts Spider-Man on Netflix at some point, allowing for them to focus on lesser-known characters instead.
