Unlike season one, which put Foggy and Matt through the ringer and then patched them up in time for the end of the run, season two leaves the pair’s law firm – and their friendship – kaput. With Karen working at the Bulletin and Foggy being offered a job with Jeri Hogarth’s firm, it looks like Nelson & Murdock really is over. Yet that can’t really be the case, can it?

Knowing the show’s dedication to making sure its characters feel and react like real people, a quick fix for the friends’ problems probably won’t be found, so even if the intention is to get the law firm up and running again it will surely be a good while yet before N&M is back in business.
