8 Wild Predictions For Who Could Be Vigilante In Arrow Season 5

Much of Arrow's fifth season has revolved around who Prometheus is, but Adrian Chase being beneath the mask left everyone reeling. Roy Harper was written out of Arrow when Colton Haynes decided to move on from the series, but he has since made sporadic appearances and made it clear that he’d be willing to return. There are any number of reasons why the former Arsenal could have decided to become Vigilante; resentful that he had to give up his life for Oliver Queen, that would explain why he’s returned to Star City hungry for vengeance.

Alternatively, he may have decided to take his crimefighting actions down a darker route, which will bring him into conflict with Team Arrow, highlighting the fact that Oliver let down one of his first recruits and indirectly caused him to embark on a murderous new mission. As I previously mentioned, Flashpoint could also explain Roy’s new outlook and if Arrow wants to make the Vigilante reveal really personal, it’s hard to think of a better candidate than this former fan-favourite.
