It took what felt like an eternity, but we finally witnessed the true return of Captain Cold on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

You see, despite Wentworth Miller having signed a deal that made him a series regular across the entire Arrowverse, he’d only appeared in hallucinations and flashbacks on various shows this season up until now. Thankfully, the Legion of Doom changed the game by plucking him from the timeline just before he was originally recruited by Rip Hunter. Diabolical!

As such, the bad guys were able to get Heat Wave to do an eleventh hour heel turn, but I doubt that will last for very long. Still, they were able to rewrite reality by using the Spear of Destiny, effectively making next week’s offering a can’t miss situation.
