The first clip has been released for tomorrow night’s episode of The Flash, and it focuses on the ramifications of the arrival of Harrison Wells from Earth-2. As you can see, both Barry Allen and Detective Joe West have very different opinions on what to do now that this man is (sort of) back in their lives, but the former is clearly clued into the fact that this isn’t Eobard Thawne in disguise.
Unless of course, history repeated itself on that alternate Earth. It could be some time before we know whether Wells can be trusted, but his arrival is sure to shake things up in a big way for The Flash.
[zergpaid]Here’s the synopsis for the episode, which is titled “The Darkness and the Light”:
Barry (Grant Gustin) learns a new breacher, Dr. Light, has come through the portal and sets off to capture her. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) tells Barry that Dr. Light was not a threat on Earth-2 and that Barry can reason with her. However, during a fight with The Flash, she blinds him and drops some shocking news about Zoom. Meanwhile, Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date.
It’s interesting that there’s no mention of Wells there, especially as this clip makes it clear that he’ll be playing a key role in this instalment of The Flash. Regardless, it’s going to be very exciting seeing how this story unfolds next week.
