Earlier today, we brought you images from the first half of the upcoming crossover between Arrow and The Flash. Now, The CW has release a second batch revolving around the former series as the action moves to Central City and heroes assemble to take on the immortal Vandal Savage ahead of the events of Legends of Tomorrow.

While the images from The Flash focused mostly on the supporting cast, this batch of images puts the spotlight squarely on the heroes, with a great new look at Hawkgirl and Hawkman, two of perhaps the most major additions to this corner of the DC Universe. There’s also a very interesting look at Barry and Green Arrow seemingly using Savage’s mysterious weapon to fight him off.

Here’s the synopsis for the second part of the Arrow/The Flash crossover, which is titled “Legends of Yesterday”:

Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) take Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Carter Hall (guest star Falk Henstchel) to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.

This crossover sounds absolutely epic, and it’s going to be a lot of fun seeing how it ends up setting up the events of Legends of Tomorrow, and how it will specifically lead into the spinoff.
