The last we saw of the nefarious Wilson Fisk he was finally being carted off to jail, thwarted by the Man Without Fear down a dark back alley. That moment formed the climax of Daredevil‘s final season 1 episode, and since then, all talk has orbited the introduction of new characters to Matt Murdock’s world. But, what if Fisk is returning?

According to MCU Exchange, that’s a real possibility. A series of set photos taken during the season 2 shoot depict a very familiar face casually strolling to his trailer, coffee in hand. It’s Vincent D’Onofrio.

Of course, there’s a lot of reasons why D’Onofrio might have been spotted on set. A lot. The photos could have captured him during a visit to catch up with his former co-workers, or he might be filming scenes to serve as flashbacks.

The site goes on to say that the Kingpin will share scenes with a new addition to the Daredevil rogues gallery: Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher. This is the first we’ve heard that the two would pair up, but the site’s sources suggest the pair will “interact.” Still, let’s not rule out that flashback just yet.

Daredevil season 2 will return to Netflix on March 18th.
