We now have our first look at this exciting-sounding episode in the form of a batch of photos. Going by the groovy costumes the team are wearing, it seems that the outing is set in the aftermath of a visit to the 1970s. Considering that we know the cast will be frozen still for most of the runtime, this should provide a lot of laughs.

From what we can tell, “Here I Go Again” is set to be a major episode for Zari. The character is still the newbie on the team, as she only joined at the beginning of season 3, so we imagine this installment will deal with her hang-ups about that and see her properly feel like a needed member of the squad.

These photos also confirm that Amy Pemberton will be turning up again as the physical form of Gideon, the Waverider’s onboard computer. The actress is a regular on the show but has only appeared in the flesh on one previous occasion. Namely, season 2’s “Land of the Lost,” which was set in Rip Hunter’s mind. By the sounds of it, then, this episode will likely be a bit of two-hander between Zari and Gideon.

Here’s that previously-released synopsis for “Here I Go Again”:

FINDING YOUR PLACE — After the team returns from a mission, Zari (Tala Ashe) finds herself trapped in a time loop that results in the Waverider blowing up over and over again. Zari soon begins to suspect that the answer to stop what is happening might lie hidden among her fellow shipmates’ secrets. But in investigating them she starts to understand her place on the team. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominc Purcell, Nick Zano, Maise Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano and Keiynan Lonsdale also stars. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Morgan Faust (#311).

After an extended midseason break, Legends of Tomorrow will finally return to The CW on Monday, February 12th, as it takes over Supergirl‘s usual slot for the next nine weeks.
