Mark Ruffalo Trolls Tom Hiddleston Over Loki TV Show

Following the announcement of a Loki TV show on Disney's new streaming service, Mark Ruffalo decided to playfully troll star Tom Hiddleston about it.

While it remains to be seen what will become of Loki after he met his end in Avengers: Infinity War, the recent quarterly earnings call from Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that Tom Hiddleston isn’t done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe just yet.

The God of Mischief’s solo project will be just one part of the first crop of TV shows headed for the upcoming streaming service Disney+, and though we’ve more or less known it was happening for a while now, finally receiving official confirmation from the Mouse House has sent excitement levels to an all-time high.

Someone who’s definitely looking forward to this one is Hiddleston’s MCU co-star, Mark Ruffalo. After Tom took to social media to tease what Disney has in store for the Loki TV show, the Hulk actor commented on the post, playfully trolling his friend by saying that he’s “lowkey excited” to see it. Of course, that prompted fans to ponder if Bruce Banner might swing by for a cameo, but as of yet, there’s been no confirmation of such a thing being on the cards.

While there’s plenty of speculation on the internet that points to the God of Mischief still being alive, with Hiddleston himself even praising viewers for their attention to detail in combing his Infinity War scenes for hints and clues, we still don’t know when the Loki series will be taking place. If we had to guess, though, we imagine it’ll be set before the latest Avengers film, as there’s only so many times Marvel can pull the same old trick of faking the villain’s death.

In any case, we may just get a clearer picture of everything when Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019. In the meantime, here’s hoping we won’t have to wait too long for some official news on that Scarlet Witch series, which was revealed alongside the Loki one.
