Enjoy it while you can guys. The sixth season of Dexter might be the last.

According to Deadline, star Michael C. Hall and Showtime have reached a stalemate about the actor’s contract, which runs out at the end of this season.

Hall, who won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of the vigilante serial killer, wants $24 million for another two seasons, but Showtime is only offering $20 million.

Really guys? Dexter is too good of a show to end over such a petty issue. Let’s hope these two can work it out.
