Earlier today, Gamestop.com was updated with a WWE 2K15 Season Pass pre-order page. It is unclear whether this is a Gamestop exclusive or not, but the goodies attached are extremely enticing.

I can’t say whether or not the additional Showcase Mode content will be worth it, because I haven’t played the game yet, nor do I know what the extras will be, but I did breathe a sigh of relief at the confirmation of Paige making the deadline. Ever since being called up to the main roster the night after WrestleMania 30, Paige has taken every plot angle and match that the WWE has given her, and created gold out of it. In the span of six months she has become the second most popular Diva in WWE, endlessly feuding and trading the Divas Championship with AJ Lee.

Paige is a wrestler that many of us weren’t sure we were going to be able to play as this year. Yes, she’s fairly popular for both her wrestling talent and looks, but the strict deadline and development cycle the developers usually endure when making WWE games can halt even the most popular of superstars from appearing in an installment. It seems 2K understood, though, that WWE 2K15 would simply not feel complete without the Anti-Diva, so they entered crunch-time to get her included.

It’s also possible that her character model is already on the disc, and 2K just wanted to add something appealing to their Season Pass. That wouldn’t surprise me, but I’m too excited that Paige is in the game to really care. Maybe attaching Paige to the Season Pass is WWE’s method of testing her popularity. If that’s the case, I have no problem showing my support and dropping down $25.

WWE 2K15 will be released on October 28th for last generation consoles and November 18th for current generation consoles. Tell us, will you be picking up the season pass? Sound off below!
