“Saved” is a sprawling epic that hits all the classic mau5 hallmarks. The track runs just shy of ten minutes in length, and deadmau5 uses the time wisely to introduce the perfect number of elements. Kicking off with a quiet introduction led by organic bell sounds, his trademark synth arpeggios soon take over with a spellbinding sequence that gradually progresses throughout the song’s duration.

The latest deadmau5 offering comes as a welcome surprise and exceeds the high standards we’ve come to expect from him, while building further anticipation for his upcoming album.

“Saved” is set to be featured on the upcoming mau5trap compilation We Are Friends Volume 5, which can be per-ordered here.
