Meet Peyton List’s Poison Ivy In New Gotham Photos

When Gotham season 4 returns from its midseason break, it will introduce a brand new version of a familiar character. In "A Dark Knight: Pieces of a Broken Mirror," Peyton List will step into the role of Ivy Pepper AKA Poison Ivy, who was previously played by Maggie Geha (and Claire Foley before her). Though her casting was made official a few months ago, we now have our first glimpse at List's Ivy in these images from the midseason premiere.

You don’t need Bruce Wayne’s detective skills to notice that this version of Ivy is missing something that’s usually intrinsic to the character: her auburn locks. List is a popular actress with DC TV fans, after previously appearing as Golden Glider on The Flash and Lucy Lane on Smallville, but we imagine some will have fierce opinions about a version of Poison Ivy who doesn’t have red hair.

Meanwhile, the photos tease Lee Thompkins’ (Morena Baccarin) new working relationship with Edward Nygma’s Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), which is something Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) isn’t too pleased with. Elsewhere, David Mazouz’s Bruce Wayne is living up to his billionaire playboy image by having a good time at the Iceberg Lounge – and it looks like Camren Bicondova’s Selina Kyle is jealous.

For more info, here’s the synopsis for “Pieces of a Broken Mirror”:

Gordon is called to the scene after The Toy Maker is hired to assassinate one of Gotham’s doctors. Lee Thompkins begins to try to rebuild the Narrows, with Nygma as her partner. Meanwhile, Alfred’s new life in the Narrows becomes complicated and Ivy (guest star Peyton List) reveals her new persona to Selina in the all-new “A Dark Knight: Pieces of a Broken Mirror” spring premiere episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, March 1 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Gotham returns to Fox on Thursday, March 1st.
