‘Warrior Nun’ showrunner rewards the Halo Bearers with unseen goodies as the campaign goes global

The 'Warrior Nun' fandom has started mobilizing all around the globe.

The campaign to save Warrior Nun continues to go from strength to strength, even if recent history has underlined two dozen times over that Netflix isn’t one for changing its mind when it comes to resurrecting its own canceled shows from the scrapheap.

In fact, with the streaming service exponentially more likely to pick up episodic originals that bit the dust elsewhere than the reverse coming true, there are plenty of reasons to be skeptical about seeing Alba Baptista’s Ava Silva rise from the ashes of purgatory and embark on a third run of adventures.

However, it would be stating the obvious to say that the Halo Bearers will not stand for such an outcome, especially when the movement has officially gone global. Showrunner Simon Barry could barely contain his delight at multiple billboards appearing in his home city of London, which came right on the cusp of a major social media milestone.

As he’d promised previously, the executive producer celebrated a mammoth 10 million Warrior Nun tweets by revealing the script pages for a deleted scene, one that instantly sent the masses into a state of blissful meltdown.

You’d think that it’s becoming increasingly difficult for rival streamers or potentially even television networks to ignore the grassroots support Warrior Nun continues to amass at a breakneck rate to begin taking up prime advertising space in multiple continents, but we’ve just got to wait it out and see what happens. As you can see, though, this is one fight that’s far from over.
