Is there a Black Clover movie?

There is currently only one Black Clover film, which premiered on June 16, 2023, in Japanese theaters and on Netflix internationally. Titled Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, the film is produced by Pierrot, directed by Ayataka Tanemura, written by Johnny Onda and Ai Orii, and features characters designed by Itsuko Takeda, and music by Minako Seki.

Yüki Tabata, the author of the original Black Clover manga, supervised the making of the 2023 film. The cast for the 2017 anime all returned for Sword of the Wizard King as well, including Gakuto Kajiwara as Asta, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuno, and Kana Yūki as Noelle.

According to Netflix, while the story of the film takes place after the events of the fourth season of the anime, there is no guarantee future seasons of the television show, if there are any, will include the new developments in its canon. In Sword of the Wizard King, Asta and Yuno must face off against Conrad Leto, a former Wizard King and White Serpent captain, who had been banished by Julius Novachrono for 10 years after attempting to destroy the Clover Kingdom.

Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King can be streamed on Netflix, while the anime is available on Crunchyroll.
