Have you been watching the trailers for Thor: Ragnarok recently and thought, “Yeah, this is good – but it needs to be more like The Walking Dead“? Well, in the unlikely event that you have, we’ve found just the mash-up for you.

In response to the awesome character posters for Marvel’s upcoming threequel that have been trending recently, the official Twitter account for AMC’s hit series decided to get in on the action. Taking the poster for Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, they edited in the head of Michonne, as played by Danai Gurira. Then, with the aid of some nifty WordArt fonts, the Thor: Ragnarok title was scrubbed out and replaced with a new caption: “The Walking Dead – All Out War.”

Take a look at it below:

It’s probably no coincidence that Gurira was chosen to feature in the poster. The actress is about to become a bonafide Marvel movie star herself in the near future, as she’s set to appear in next year’s Black Panther as Okoye, one of King T’Challa’s female warrior force, the Dora Milaje. She’s also set to reprise the part in Avengers: Infinity War.

As TWD fans will know, the “All Out War” caption refers to the upcoming eighth season of the series, which will adapt the storyline of the same name from the comics. Following on from last season, the new run will see Rick bring together the various communities to take down Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan. It’s not quite on the intergalactic scale of the God of Thunder’s battle against Hela, Goddess of the Underworld, for the sake of Asgard, but hey, a war’s a war.

Like the mock-poster says, The Walking Dead returns to the small screen on October 22nd. Thor: Ragnarok, meanwhile, is set to hit the big screen on November 3rd.
