Following Grant Gustin’s heartfelt Instagram post to his friend Stephen Amell and the rest of the Arrow team, fellow member of Team Flash Danielle Panabaker has now taken to Twitter to share a message to those who worked on the show that started it all. Rather than be sad that it was ending though, Panabaker decided to celebrate the fact that Arrow reached an impressive eight seasons, saying she was “grateful to have been a small part of the journey.”

Here’s the actress’ full message, in response to Arrow showrunner Beth Schwartz’s post.

Arrowverse fans with long memories may recall that Panabaker began her time playing Dr. Caitlin Snow on Arrow. Along with Gustin’s Barry Allen and Carlos Valdes’ Cisco Ramon, Caitlin first appeared in a guest role in Arrow season 2 that set up her regular presence on The Flash. Since then, she’s returned to the parent show many times for the annual crossover events.

Speaking of which, it’s been all but confirmed that this fall’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” will bring the Green Arrow’s story to a close. Arrow season 8 is a mere 10 episodes long, which should tee up neatly with the crossover’s usual placement in late November/early December. All the signs are pointing to Oliver Queen going out with a classic hero’s sacrifice to save the multiverse in what promises to be the biggest event to ever hit the Arrowverse, but we’ll just have to wait and see what The CW is planning.

For now, Arrow season 7 continues Mondays on The CW, while The Flash season 5 follows on Tuesdays.
