My Hero Academia recently rounded out its sixth season and unsurprisingly it still remains one of the most popular anime series right now. With this being the case, newcomers to the franchise are probably wondering just how much of a commitment they’re about to make.

Like all popular anime shows, My Hero Academia has plenty of content from mediums including the main series, OVAs, and movies. Furthermore, given it has been running since 2016, there are plenty of episodes for your to indulge in.

Before you set out on this task, you’ll need to know exactly how many episodes there are and roughly how long it will take you to get up to date.

In total, with the conclusion of season 6, there are 138 episodes of My Hero Academia to sink your teeth into. Each of these runs for roughly 30 minutes meaning you’ll want to dedicate about 69 hours to watch them all. However, as we mentioned before, the adventures of Deku don’t stop there.

To get the most joy out of watching My Hero Academia you’ll also want to consume its movie and OVA content. There are eight OVAs to watch alongside three feature films, so you tack a few more hours onto the total watch time.
