Anthony Mackie Willing To Star In Marvel’s Black Panther
Anthony Mackie recently told HitFix that given the chance, he would take a swipe at playing T’Challa in Black Panther, Marvel’s upcoming superhero film that is set for release in 2014. In a joint interview with Benjamin Walker to promote Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Mackie was asked if he has been contacted by Marvel about the comic book adaptation. Although he admits that he hasn’t, he states that it is one of his dreams to play an action hero and expresses interest in the role. Co-star Benjamin Walker voices support, and says he “would watch the hell out of that.”

News that Susan Sarandon will be playing an Indian man in the upcoming, mind-boggling film Cloud Atlas really isn’t all that surprising. The illustrious actress, prominent for her roles in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Thelma & Louise and Dead Man Walking, has recently let slip in an interview with Postmedia that she will be playing an Indian man in Tom Tykwer and The Wachowskis’ race and gender-bending film.

Full Carjacking Scene From The Amazing Spider-Man
While the trailers have hinted an intricate web of plot and character development, Wal-Mart’s Amazing Spider-Man sneak peek clip has revealed Peter Parker’s signature wit in action. Today, the video surfaced online and it shows Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, stopping a carjacking in progress, then proceeding to escape from a police officer. This is the same scene that was hinted at through various trailers and now we have it in full.
