Since its announcement in December, there hasn’t been much said about Sega’s new IP, Binary Domain. That is set to change as Famitsu has a 20 page blowout about the game in its upcoming issue.
Details have surfaced regarding the much talked about RC car that is to be a part of a $300 limited edition Dirt 3 bundle. It will be available on May 24th, along with the regular edition of the game, but will cost about six times as much. To the average gamer, it may not be worth it, but the RC car that they've included is apparently really high quality. Some RC fans have even stated that it's cheaper to get it with the game than in-stores, though that hasn't been proven.

Guess what? That freedom you thought you'd earned at the end of Portal was a pipe dream. You're back to square one with one hell of a pissed off female robot to contend with. You see, GLaDOS is still alive. There was a fail safe reboot option implemented into her operating system and she managed to reboot herself. Not only did she do that, but she also managed to knock you out and bring you back down into the Aperture Science Experimentation Centre.
Could a sequel to the XBOX Live Arcade game Hydrophobia be on its way? That could be the case as the Australian Government's Classifications Board has released a listing of a new Hydrophobia title, Hydrophobia Prophecy. There hasn't been any official confirmation of this leak, but it's feasible considering the fact that developer Dark Energy Digital originally stated that they were planning for the game to spawn two sequels (making it a trilogy.)
One of Square-Enix's most popular releases and arguably one of the best games of all-time may receive a re-release on some new platforms. The ESRB has rated Chrono Trigger, for both of Sony's current platforms - the PS3 and PSP. If so, there will be a ton of happy PSN users.
Due to a decline in the console market and a lack of earnings, Cohort Studios (developer of the PlayStation Move launch title, The Shoot) is unfortunately closing its doors. This year marks the fifth year in business for the Dundee, Scotland development studio. Their remaining twenty-five employees were informed of the shut down, though twenty-seven were let go previously. The official reason given for this unfortunate closure is "the difficulties of being a console developer in a declining console marketplace."
Not long ago, Ubisoft released a statement saying that the PlayStation 3 version of Child of Eden would see a June 17th release (at least in Europe.) However, that news seems to have been released prematurely because it has now been said that the PS3 version of the game will be delayed until September. The XBOX 360 version is still on track for a June 14th release on North American store shelves and it will support Kinect.
Two years ago, TimeGate Studios released an interesting retail game known as Section 8. Despite unique gameplay mechanics such as the ability to drop into (or 'burn into') any position on the battlefield from above during a multiplayer match, it didn't end up selling very well. Though the studio never gave up on the property and have now released a much more affordable downloadable sequel on XBOX Live Arcade. It's called Section 8: Prejudice. It takes place after the first game and employs many of the same mechanics. The emphasis is once again on the creation of an interesting and unique multiplayer mode, with the campaign taking second stage. So put on your battle suit and get ready to deploy from the sky as we take a look at the battleground and all of its intricacies.
