Disney Plus Is Adding 4 New Movies And TV Shows This Week
While the rest of the major streaming services add a load of newly licensed content every first day of the month, Disney Plus has a strict policy of only sharing fresh titles on Fridays (barring a few exceptions). That means that this coming week's haul isn't as hefty as that of Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc., with just four new movies and TV series joining the platform's library on Friday, February 5th. There are a couple of notable releases among the small handful of additions, though, as you can see below.

Star Trek: Discovery EP Teases Season 4 Villain
Star Trek: Discovery wrapped up its third season earlier this month, but the good news is another run is already in the works, so it should be with us pretty soon. Production began on the next season of the hit CBS All Access show back in the fall, and a release sometime later this year seems highly plausible. In the meantime, EP Alex Kurtzman has teased what we can expect the next time the U.S.S. Discovery blasts onto our screens.

Ruby Rose To Replace Elliot Page In New Gamer Comedy Movie
Last October, Lionsgate and Buzzfeed announced they were starting a unique partnership to make movies with socially and culturally relevant concepts to appeal to millennial and Gen Z audiences. First out the door will be 1Up, a comedy centering around eSports. Elliot Page was set to appear, but now it's been reported that The Umbrella Academy star has stepped away from the project due to unknown reasons. And in his place, former Batwoman actress Ruby Rose has signed on.

Dinosaurs Fans Freaking Out That The Show Is On Disney Plus

The Incredible Hulk Might Be Coming To Disney Plus Soon
Disney Plus has an ever-growing stable of MCU content. As well as two dozen movies from the franchise, we have new episodes of WandaVision arriving weekly, with plenty more original TV series due in time. But there are a few outliers that keep the streamer's Marvel collection from being complete. Due to Sony co-producing both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, neither of those are available on the platform.

Andrew Lincoln’s New Movie Is Dominating Netflix Today
After a couple of years away from our screens, Andrew Lincoln's first post-Walking Dead project finally released this week. Netflix debuted their latest original movie on Wednesday, January 27th in the form of heartwarming indie drama Penguin Bloom. Though the film is primarily a vehicle for Naomi Watts, the British actor features as co-lead in the role of Watts' onscreen husband. And it's proving to be a hit with subscribers.

At long last, Dinosaurs is finally available to stream on Disney Plus. One of the biggest draws of the Mouse House's streaming platform is all the nostalgic content on there that subscribers love to revisit. The cult favorite 1990s sitcom always seemed like a perfect fit for the service, then, but for whatever reason, the company kept holding off on adding it to the library. As of Friday, January 29th, however, all four seasons of the classic ABC show are yours to watch.
