Disney Issues Statement On Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones 5 Injury
Indiana Jones 5 hit a speedbump yesterday when reports emerged that Harrison Ford had injured his shoulder while rehearsing for a fight scene. The star, who turns 79 in early July, doesn't appear to have seriously injured himself but director James Mangold has reworked the production schedule to shoot around Ford while he recovers. now Disney has released a short statement on the situation, saying:

We’ve seen four successful sequels and a twenty-episode TV show, with the franchise grossing a cumulative total of $450 million against a combined budget of $35 million - making it a huge financial hit. Post COVID I'm not in the mood for a slow introspective drama, but I am ready to watch Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and Chris Pontius get whacked in the nuts. But right now there's a cloud hanging over the production, as former Jackass Bam Margera has been slapped with a restraining order after reportedly threatening director Steve Tremaine's wife and children.

Star Wars: The Acolyte EP Says George Lucas Made The Franchise Political
Star Wars: The Acolyte remains a mysterious addition to the upcoming Disney+ slate. Announced at the December 2020 Investors Day, the show has been described as "a mystery-thriller that will take the audience into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.” This would place it a couple of decades prior to The Phantom Menace, making it the earliest live-action Star Wars we've ever seen.

The Boys' first two seasons have been massive hits for Amazon Prime, helping them challenge the dominance of Netflix in the streaming market.
