Christian Bale’s Batman Is Reportedly Warner Bros.’ Plan B For The Flash
At one point, Michael Keaton's Batman seemed like a lock for The Flash. Word had it that the deal was all but done, with concept art appearing and Warner Bros. positioning the character as a DC Universe equivalent of Nick Fury. But Keaton recently poured cold water on the idea, saying he'd hadn't read the script, that he was concerned about travelling to the UK during COVID-19 and he's very busy at the moment.

Disney Parks Reportedly Set To Release Working Retractable Lightsabers
Toy lightsaber technology has advanced at an incredible pace over the years, going way behind the plastic tubes that were available as part the Prequel Trilogy merchandising campaigns. In Disney's Galaxy's Edge parks, visitors can sign up to construct their own saber, the results of which are apparently very impressive mementos. Real Star Wars diehards swear by the Black Series line, which is aimed at collectors, features prop-level detailing and runs into the hundreds of dollars depending on the saber.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Is Reportedly At Least 14 Episodes Long
Star Wars Day is less than a month away and the franchise is in rude health. The Mandalorian's amazing second season has resulted in an explosion of new shows announced for Disney+, not to mention the movies confirmed to be in development. On May 4th, I'm hoping for some sneak peeks at those upcoming series (especially Obi-Wan Kenobi), and updates on how the various film projects are progressing. But don't spend too much time pondering the future, as the day will also see the feature-length premiere of The Clone Wars spinoff Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
