Wil Wheaton Wants Wesley Crusher On Star Trek: Lower Decks
The first few Star Trek: Lower Decks episodes weren't great, and though I don't think I'll ever be much of a fan of the show, subsequent installments have been better. One element I like is that it's set in the years after The Next Generation, Voyager and Deep Space Nine, potentially allowing for cameos from characters in those series. For example, John de Lancie's Q is returning in his first on-screen appearance since the Voyager episode "Q2" in April 2001.

Star Wars: The High Republic Preview Reveals New Jedi
After the tangled tale of the Skywalker Saga, I’m looking forward to Star Wars: The High Republic's clean slate. The High Republic (or Project Luminous as it was once known) will be a series novels and comics taking place 200 years before The Phantom Menace, allowing it to be recognizable as Star Wars while having entirely new characters and settings. This was due to launch in the fall but because of – you guessed it – COVID-19, Lucasfilm announced that The High Republic will now begin in early 2021.

Game Of Thrones Cast Pay Tribute To Diana Rigg
Diana Rigg, star of The Avengers, Extras, Doctor Who and Victoria, died yesterday at the age of 82. The actress had a long and glittering career on stage and in TV and film, but most contemporary fans will remember her as Lady Olenna Tyrell in Game of Thrones, for which she received multiple Emmy nominations. Even amongst the show's motley collection of schemers and backstabbers, she was one of the best.

New Star Wars Comic Sees Darth Vader Visiting Padmé Tomb
During the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, the Jedi rules forbidding romantic relationships felt overly strict. To be fair to the Jedi Council, though, Anakin Skywalker's secret relationship with Padmé Amidala was fairly disastrous for the galaxy as a whole. Still, while Padmé was alive, she tried to be a moral compass for Anakin and might have saved him if Darth Sidious hadn't got his Sith hooks into the confused Jedi Knight.

Sylvester Stallone Shares New Fight Footage From Rocky IV Director’s Cut
With the entertainment industry still not up to full speed due to COVID-19, many filmmakers are spending the time revisiting their old works. Zack Snyder is busy with his version of Justice League, Francis Ford Coppola is having another crack at The Godfather Part III and Sylvester Stallone is reworking Rocky IV for its 35th anniversary. Thing is, unlike those other two movies, Rocky IV was already awesome, so what's Stallone changing?

New Star Wars Book Reveals The Origin Of Rey’s Yellow Lightsaber
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was a disappointing finale to Disney's Sequel Trilogy. After The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, I was interested to see how Rey's journey would end. I particularly liked that she wasn't a member of the galactic nobility and that any random junk scavenger could be the next hero that saves the galaxy. It's an uplifting, egalitarian message...one that was completely ruined by the nonsensical revelation that she was secretly Emperor Palpatine's granddaughter all along. Ah well.

New BTS Logo For The Mandalorian Season 2 Features Baby Yoda
The Mandalorian season 2 is officially landing on October 30th and I can't wait. Expectations are sky high after the first season knocked it out of the park as the best live-action Star Wars project we'd seen in ages. Even better, the second run finished filming just before the COVID-19 lockdowns hit, meaning that unlike many other Disney+ shows, there aren't going to be any delays.
