Gwyneth Paltrow has had a long and fruitful association with Marvel Studios. Her performance as Pepper Potts way back in 2008's Iron Man was widely praised, with the film's love story being cited as one of its best features by critics. Despite having all but retired from acting over the years, she continued to appear as Potts in the MCU in various movies, culminating in her kickass appearance in full armor as Rescue in the final battle of Avengers: Endgame. And now, she's released a candle called "This Smells Like My Vagina." We kid you not.

A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge was the hit sequel to Wes Craven's classic original, helping lay the template for the many Elm Street films that would follow. But nowaday's Freddy's Revenge is primarily known among horror aficionados as a bizarrely homoerotic movie, and was called "the gayest horror film ever" by gay magazine The Advocate. Now a new documentary called Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street goes into what actually happened during the film's production.

Matthew McConaughey Reportedly Being Eyed For Reverse-Flash In The Flash
For the fastest man alive, the Flash is taking his sweet time to make it to the big screen. Originally announced back in 2014, Ezra Miller's first solo outing as the Scarlet Speedster was due to land in 2018. Since then, the project has been in development hell and gone through a number of directors, with the film’s problems compounded by the studio reevaluating their DCEU plans after the failure of Justice League and Miller being busy with the ongoing Fantastic Beasts franchise.

Star Wars Tie-In Book Reveals Luke’s Death Is Linked To Expanded Universe
Like most things in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Luke Skywalker's death divided fans. Rather than go down in a blaze of glory, he instead projected his image across the galaxy in an attempt to distract Kylo Ren and the First Order just long enough to allow the Resistance to escape. I thought it was a smart move from Rian Johnson, with Luke recognizing that he has far more power as a symbol than as a physical person waving around a laser sword. But one of the major criticisms was that this Force projection power hadn't been properly established in the Star Wars universe.

Sam Raimi’s Surprised Evil Dead Franchise Has Lasted This Long
Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead series remains one of the most beloved horror franchises of all time. There's still something unique about the mischievous way it combines cartoonish levels of gore with goofy laughs, with Bruce Campbell making Ash Williams an indelible cinematic icon. After the first three movies (The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness), we saw the franchise expand into comics and video games, along with a remake of the first film and the excellent Ash vs. Evil Dead TV show.

New A-Team Movie Reportedly In Development, Dave Bautista And Will Smith Eyed
One of the lesser discussed properties that Disney acquired when they bought 20th Century Fox was The A-Team. The classic 1980s TV show was last adapted for the big screen back in 2010, with Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson and Sharlto Copley as the four heroes. That film received mixed reviews and just about squeaked into profitability, though on rewatch it's a perfectly serviceable action movie. But now Disney is reportedly having another go and bringing it to the big screen.
