Billy Dee Williams Reportedly Returning For Lando Disney Plus Show
While Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker looks like it may end up a more divisive entry in the franchise than The Last Jedi, those who've seen it at least agree that it's good to have Billy Dee Williams back as Lando Calrissian. One element that works particularly well is Lando's relationship with Naomi Ackie's Jannah. Throughout the movie, it's implied that they have some kind of connection, with most assuming that she's his long-lost daughter. In the final moments of the film (spoilers ahead) we even see Lando explaining that together they're going to figure out who she is.

Its main competitors are Harry Potter and Marvel, but Star Wars has a cross-generational longevity that, in my opinion, puts them at the top of the heap. And it's safe to say that ever since the release of The Last Jedi, the most vocal Star Wars fans have been those that absolutely despised the movie.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is now out in the wild and spoilers are flying around thick and fast. One of the more controversial decisions in the movie is that they officially reveal who Rey's real parents were. In The Last Jedi Kylo Ren informed her that: "They were filthy junk traders. Sold you off for drinking money. They're dead in a pauper's grave in the Jakku desert." It was one of my favorite moments in the movie, proving that Rey's talents and bravery aren't simply because she was born into a special family, but because of who she is. After all, if a complete nobody can save the galaxy, then anyone can.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Leak Reveals If Hayden Christensen Returns Or Not
For as long as we've been talking about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, we've been debating whether Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker would return or not. Given that the movie was extensively billed as the conclusion of the nine-film Skywalker Saga and that it was bringing back Emperor Palpatine, fans were hopeful. After all, Anakin is the key character for the first six movies and The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi both deal directly with his legacy.
