Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake Might Release Sooner Than You Think
The big new idea that Capcom brought to the table in 1999's Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was the Nemesis itself. The titular foe was an all but invincible colossus of mutated flesh, with a rocket launcher for an arm and a real bad attitude. Not knowing when or where he was going to burst through a wall and attack you made for an intense survival horror experience. So, it's all too appropriate that Capcom's Resident Evil 3 remake is strongly rumored to surprise us all with a release in the not too distant future.

Venom Producer Says Sony Has Big Plans For Spider-Man
2018’s Venom may have disappointed critics but audiences loved it. The film grossed $856 million at the box office, making that teaser scene featuring Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady/Carnage certain to lead to a sequel. But for a while, things went quiet on Venom 2. In retrospect, this may have been a result of behind-the-scenes negotiations on the future of Spider-Man in the MCU. The eventual conclusion of those negotiations should mean good things for Spidey fans though, with the character confirmed to return to the MCU as well as most likely facing off against Tom Hardy's Venom and/or Woody Harrelson's Carnage.

The Mandalorian EP Not Ruling Out A Boba Fett Appearance
For a while, a spin-off movie about everyone's favorite Star Wars bounty hunter Boba Fett seemed inevitable. Then, following Solo's production and box office woes, Disney put the brakes on standalone Star Wars movies. Since then it appears that at least some of the work that went into these cancelled movies has been repurposed for the Disney Plus lineup. Most notable is The Mandalorian. Despite not being about Boba Fett, the lead character of the show shares his design and is also a bounty hunter. On top of that, eagle-eyed viewers noticed a rather familiar-looking character lurking in the background during the first episode...

Avengers: Endgame Writers Explain Why Black Widow Had To Die
Black Widow's death in Avengers: Endgame raised some eyebrows and became a minor source of controversy amongst the film's fans. After all, why should the MCU's first female hero have to die? Natasha's death also meant she wasn't able to take part in the final battle against Thanos, with the female Avengers assemble shot sorely missing her presence. Plus, if we had to choose between Black Widow and Hawkeye, I'd pick her any day over the rather boring guy with the bow and arrow.

Avengers: Endgame Concept Art Reveals Alternate Designs For Rescue Armor
Up until its release, Disney and Marvel Studios did a good job in keeping Avengers: Endgame spoilers under wraps. We knew a few things about the movie, like that Hawkeye would be taking on a more violent Ronin persona and that time travel would play a major part in the plot, but how things were actually going to go down remained a secret right up until premiere night. One thing we were sure of early on though was that Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts would finally be suiting up as Rescue.

Avengers: Endgame Writers Explain Why Thor And Hawkeye Survived
Avengers: Endgame saw some big changes for the classic team. Iron Man and Black Widow died, Captain America ended up an old man and Hulk was seriously injured. The only pair that walked away from the film in good shape were Thor and Hawkeye, both of whom ended up with pretty happy endings. The God of Thunder finally got over his sense of failure for not stopping Thanos' snap and relinquished the Asgardian crown to Valkryie, while Hawkeye got his family back.

Captain Marvel’s On Disney Plus But Brie Larson Hasn’t Been Given An Account
Disney Plus is off to a pretty good start. Its flagship show The Mandalorian has been warmly received by fans and critics, there's already a great selection of classic Disney movies available to watch and everyone is excited about the upcoming MCU shows. The only real fly in the ointment has been that classic episodes of The Simpsons are being presented in the wrong aspect ratio, but a fix is apparently on the way. There's one person who won't be watching any of this stuff, though: Captain Marvel star Brie Larson.

New Crisis On Infinite Earths Trailer Teases The Stakes For The Multiverse
As a longtime fan of the weirder aspects of the DC Universe, I'm tickled pink that The CW is attempting to do their own spin on the classic 1980s tale "Crisis on Infinite Earths." Back in its original publication, the intention was to streamline the expansive and confusing multiverse (with its Earth-1, Earth-2 and so on) into one timeline. Since then, DC has engaged in periodic 'Crises' to fix their continuity, including Infinite Crisis and the excellent Final Crisis. And now, the Arrowverse is getting a Crisis of its very own.

Tom Felton Would Love To Return As Draco In A Future Harry Potter Movie
The Harry Potter franchise is in an interesting spot at the moment. There are no new books on the horizon, the movie series is too fresh in the mind to be remade and the current flagbearer for the wizarding world, Fantastic Beasts, is still licking its wounds from the unexpected flop and critical mauling of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. For a while it seemed as if Warner Bros might ditch Fantastic Beasts altogether, but we now know they're going ahead with a third movie. Still, there are persistent rumors that a big-screen adaptation of the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is in the offing.
