This episode of Dexter held back on the killings and focused more on tracing the two Doomsday Killers. We also got to focus more on some of Debra’s struggles in her new role as lieutenant. First off, Debra and Mike will probably not be hooking up any time soon. Thank God. Mike announced that he was married when he and Debra were confused for boyfriend/girlfriend.
In this week's episode, Dexter tells Debra that a serial killer is deemed one once that person has killed three people. Last week’s ending marked kill number two, which was also a pretty creative and grotesque way to kill someone. This week marks the third killing, and our serial killer(s) get a moniker as well. Miami Metro has deemed the assailant “The Doomsday Killer,” even though Dexter is certain there are probably two of them.
Last night's episode of Dexter starts with a body being found, and it ends with another body left to be discovered. The final moments are tragic for our avenging angel and haunting for what the two killers have in store for next time.
