Believe it or not, it's entirely possible for interesting bits of Justice League trivia to be revealed by sources other than Zack Snyder these days. As it so happens, some intriguing sketches recently surfaced over at Reddit, which we'll discuss right now.
Normally, we think of Jason Voorhees as having an aversion to water, but it now appears as though his greatest enemy is that of the legal system. Seriously, the horror icon may soon hate lawyers more than the horny teenagers frequenting Camp Crystal Lake.
Even though Warner Bros. have finally begun exposing moviegoers to what the DC Universe has to offer beyond Superman and Batman in our current decade, one element that I’d like to see generously expanded upon is that of anything pertaining to ringslingers. That said, you can probably imagine I’m a strong advocate for Green Lantern Corps seeing the light of day. I mean, 2011’s Green Lantern showed us the tip of the iceberg, but it just didn’t resonate with audiences.
Though Geoff Johns has done a fine job in his role as DC Entertainment's President and Chief Creative Officer over the course of the past few years, it appears he's ready to reposition himself within the company.
Though viewers understandably become highly attached to the lead heroes headlining the various shows making up the Arrowverse, there remain others who've accrued sizable fanbases of their own. In the case of Arrow, Colton Hayne's Roy Harper would be a fine example, and when it comes to The Flash, it's difficult not to give Keiynan Lonsdale's Wally West the credit he deserves.
In most cases, whenever a particular series' main character is left in precarious position at the end of the season finale, you normally expect for them to get out of whatever jam it may be very early on in the year to follow. When it comes to Arrow, Oliver Queen being in Supermax lockup probably won't last for long, but the ramifications of him publicly admitting that he's the Emerald Archer will be felt for some time.
While we're all gearing up for the next big Arrowverse crossover that's set to introduce Batwoman, it can be easy to forget how much planning goes into a massive undertaking such as this. I mean, it requires the combined efforts of people working on four separate television shows - Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow - to make it a reality. Each may share some of the same producers, sure, but that makes the task no less difficult.
Though many of us are still reeling from that awesome trailer promoting the latest entry into the Halloween film franchise which dropped this morning, the time will soon come when we'll be able to enjoy the flick in theaters and, eventually, look back on it years from now while discussing all sorts of interesting trivia.
When it comes to The Flash, we normally speculate on the identity of the main villain for much of a given season, but the latest run was pretty straightforward in that regard since Clifford DeVoe was obviously the Thinker. However, the "Mystery Girl" left pretty much everybody scratching their heads since her initial appearance in last fall's "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover.
Though we as DC fans know that we can bet on seeing the likes of Aquaman, Shazam and Wonder Woman 2 in theaters over the course of the next two years, there's really no concrete evidence supporting what lies beyond that. I mean, Birds of Prey will more than likely be the next on the docket, but it's expected that only a fraction of the movies "announced" so far will make it to the finish line. That said, it's probably a solid bet priority projects such as The Batman and Suicide Squad 2 will be among those seeing the light of day.
