We don't have long to wait until the second season of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy, with the comic book adaptation returning on July 31st. Having previously put out a teaser video, a set of character posters, and some production stills, Netflix have now released a new poster for the season featuring the main cast. The focus of season 2 will be on the Hargreeves siblings dealing with time displacement in the 1960s, as well as another looming apocalypse.
With plans for the next Evil Dead movie gathering steam, including talk of where the film might be set, Bruce Campbell has recently been busy answering questions about the franchise. Although Campbell will likely not appear in Evil Dead Rise, he is still involved in various parts of the series, including a long-in-development video game. And after acknowledging that a new game was still in the works last year, he's now given a more detailed update on where things are with the production.

Stephen King isn't afraid to throw out recommendations for movies and television shows to watch, to the extent that we've recently compiled a list of all the Netflix titles he's ever suggested. Indeed, just a few weeks ago, King was talking up Da 5 Bloods, Spike Lee's feature for the streaming platform. But he's also given the thumbs up this week to the Alex Garland Hulu/FX series Devs, which has been winning praise since launching back in March this year.
The reboot of Highlander has a long history, apparently going back to at least 2008, and has been variously attached to the likes of Justin Lin and Ryan Reynolds to direct and star, among many others. John Wick director Chad Stahelski has been attached since 2016, and was still talking up the film back in December 2018. Now, he's announced that Highlander is still happening and that the production may finally be close to getting underway.

It can be annoying, especially as you may have only caught a few minutes of something, only to have a reminder of it every time you log in. Well, to solve this problem, based on what we can only assume is user frustration, Netflix are now rolling out a new feature that will enable us to manually remove titles from the "Continue Watching" list.

Levi, who found success as the title character in NBC's Chuck, appeared on Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You podcast and went into depth about his experiences, including with depression and how undertaking therapy has given him balance.
Still looking every inch the action star, Bruce Willis will soon be returning to the sci-fi genre with Edward Drake's Cosmic Sin and a new photo, available below, shows the actor in a space suit, bringing back memories of his role in Armageddon. The pic comes courtesy of the Virtual Cannes Market, where Cosmic Sin is being shipped around for international distribution, having previously been picked up by Saban Films for North American release.
Disney's decision to reopen its theme parks in California and Florida this July has already come in for criticism, including from an online petition. Disneyland was planned to be opened through a staggered process, beginning on July 9th and ending on July 23rd. However, union members have now added their voice to safety debates, and are demanding that the park remains closed for theirs and others' safety.
After only adding one new program on Saturday, Netflix have released two new movies and one new TV series today. In a week where the streaming platform continues to add a diverse range of content, today we received the films Goldie and Woodshock, as well as season 1 of Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, joining K-drama It's Okay to Not be Okay's premiere yesterday.
