After tonight's incredible episode of The Flash (which revealed the origin story of the Reverse-Flash), a first look at what's to come in next week's instalment has been released. From what we can tell, it appears as if the focus is going to be put squarely back on Zoom, as he continues to force the Earth-2 Harrison Wells to increase Barry Allen's speed for him to steal.
The first clip has been released from this week's episode of Arrow, and the spotlight is squarely on Felicity Smoak as she comes to terms with the life altering injury which she suffered at the hands of the villainous Damien Darhk in the midseason finale. The show is clearly going to be taking things in an interesting direction, as the key member of Team Arrow ends up coming face to face with her younger self.
Very little is known about Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man reboot as of right now. Jon Watts has been confirmed to direct and Tom Holland is starring, but there's no word on who the villain will be or what kind of direction the story will go in. However, at least one additional detail has been revealed today as we've learned that the reboot is set to be released in IMAX 3D on July 7th, 2017.
While Zoom may be the big bad of The Flash's second season, the spotlight of this evening's instalment will be firmly on Eobard Thawne. He's the villain who took centre stage last year while disguised as Dr. Harrison Wells, and thanks to the mysteries of time travel, the Reverse-Flash is back in the land of the living despite being erased from history!
There are a lot of characters who will be making an appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and among them is Man of Steel star Amy Adams. She'll be reprising the role of Lois Lane in the movie, but since we last saw her, it turns out that she's undergone some big changes thanks to the time she's spent both working and living with Clark Kent.
Yet another metahuman has been added to the second season of The Flash, and that's Allison Paige as little known speedster Eliza Harmon, a.k.a. Trajectory. Created in 2006, she was chosen by Lex Luthor to participate in the Everyman Project after she came to him begging to be granted superspeed. However, after suffering some issues with that, Eliza was stripped of her powers and ended up being killed in battle.
Surprisingly, Warner Bros. still hasn't dated the long rumoured Batman movie starring and directed by Ben Affleck. It could be that both parties are waiting to see how well Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice does before committing to anything (Affleck doesn't want another Daredevil after all), but rumours are already pointing to it being an adaptation of the classic "Under the Hood" storyline.
Since the events of Man of Steel, Henry Cavill's Clark Kent has gone through some big changes. The latest issue of Empire actually reveals that in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Clark Kent is living with Lois Lane and working his way up the ranks of The Daily Planet, but as Superman, the world remains unsure whether he's their saviour or tyrant.
While we know that season two of Daredevil will reach Netflix on March 18th, Marvel has yet to announce when Luke Cage is going to hit the online streaming service. However, the teaser image below (which comes from the Jessica Jones Twitter account) points to the highly anticipated series premiering this November.
Captain America: Civil War is a movie packed full of characters, and the way directors Joe and Anthony Russo handle that will be a good indication of how well suited they are to taking the helm of the massive Avengers: Infinity War. The story arcs of some heroes will no doubt be more important than others, and it sounds like Don Cheadle's War Machine (or War Hammer as he's been called in promo art) falls into that category.
