This week's episode of The Flash is going to be a big one, as it looks set to deal with the origin story of the Reverse-Flash, a character who was wiped from history the last time we saw him in the season one finale. If that sounds confusing, don't worry, as time travel is something which the show has so far done an excellent job of making accessible to viewers.
The first official images have been released from this week's episode of Arrow, and they put the spotlight mostly on fan-favourite character Diggle and the complicated relationship he has with his brother. Based on what we see here, that's about to get even worse, especially now that he's under the "care" of Amanda Waller and A.R.G.U.S. rather than Team Arrow.
Last week, Warner Bros. unveiled the first official trailer for David Ayer's Suicide Squad. While it technically wasn't our first look at the movie - that came when the studio was forced to release the Comic-Con footage online after a bootleg copy was leaked - it definitely did its job of getting fans excited for what's to come from 2016's second DC release.
Late last year, Marvel Studios co-president Louis D'Esposito shared a photo of himself on the set of Doctor Strange with Captain America: Civil War star and the new Spider-Man, Tom Holland. While some people jumped to the conclusion that it meant the character would be making a cameo appearance in the Sorcerer Supreme's big screen debut, it likely didn't mean a whole lot.
2016 is a big year for superhero movies, and while Suicide Squad is taking a unique approach by putting the spotlight on a group of bad guys, the riskiest upcoming release is the R-Rated Deadpool. While Fox initially wanted the movie to have a PG-13 rating, Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller pushed for the R, something which led to a significantly lower budget as a result. However, they've clearly spent their money well if the new TV spot above is any indication.
While the first season of The Flash was all about time travel, the second has revolved around the concept of an alternate Earth. Of course, the Multiverse is something which DC Comics fans will be well aware of, but for TV viewers who may be new to the concept, it's a good job that The CW are sticking to just the one extra world for the time being!
Arrow returned to The CW earlier this week, but the network is already looking ahead at what's to come for Oliver Queen. In the thirteenth episode of season four, it sounds like the focus is going to shift from whatever Damien Darhk has planned to the League of Assassins, as fan-favourite character Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) finally makes her return.
The CW has released the official description for the fourth episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and it confirms that we'll be meeting Doom Patrol villain Negative Woman. It isn't clear whether or not she'll have her powers in the show, but it should still be fun to see how the series handles the character, especially in a 1980s setting.
CBS has released an extended promo for next Monday's episode of Supergirl, and it offers up a much closer look at the villainous White Martian that will be causing chaos in National City. Those of you who are comic book fans will know that that alien race is responsible for wiping out Martian Manhunter's people, so things will clearly be getting personal for Hank Henshaw in this instalment of Supergirl!
Following last night's midseason premiere of Arrow, The CW has released a first look at what's to come in next week's instalment. With Oliver Queen's plan to take down Damien Darhk not going quite the way he expected, it's clear that Team Arrow are going to have to rethink things if they hope to see Star City, and that's going to begin with a team-up between Diggle and his brother.
