Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to HBO with yet another New York City-set comedy. This one's called Divorce and was created by Sharon Horgan. As you probably surmise, the generic sounding plot follows Parker's Frances, a woman who reassesses her marriage and life and decides to make a clean break in order to start fresh. However, doing so is a lot harder than she initially thought.
Because we haven't already seen enough of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Empire has now gone ahead and debuted yet another new image. This one features the film's big bad, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), flanked by two Stormtroopers. It's badass, but doesn't exactly reveal anything too exciting about the mysterious hooded villain.
GK Films' biopic of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury is starting to pick up some steam this week, as it's been announced that The Theory Of Everything writer, Anthony McCarten, will be penning the script. Though the project is still untitled, apparently the studio is toying around with the idea of calling it Bohemian Rhapsody, which is obviously a nod to the band's biggest song.
Despite seeing huge success with both Daredevil and now Jessica Jones, there were rumors recently that Marvel was having trouble with Iron Fist. As one of their four Netflix series, word on the street was that the studio couldn't quite crack it, and were actually thinking about cancelling it outright at one point.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is getting closer and closer, and despite the movie's breathtaking trailers and some very revealing magazine features, much of the J.J. Abrams helmed release remains a complete mystery. Following the disappointing prequels, the pressure is on Disney to really deliver with this new trilogy, especially as upcoming spinoffs like Rogue One and the Han Solo origin story have made it clear that Star Wars is actually going to become a yearly fixture in cinemas moving forward.
Like Guardians of the Galaxy before it, many movie pundits delighted in predicting that Ant-Man would be Marvel's first flop (especially after the departure of Edgar Wright). While it may not have been the runaway success that James Gunn's space opera was back in 2014, Ant-Man still exceeded expectations with a haul of over $500 million worldwide, and anticipation is at an all-time high for the DVD and Blu-ray release.
Following the tragic terrorist attacks in Paris, CBS switched this week's episode of Supergirl's with next Monday's instalment due to similarities in it to real life events. While the story is now a little out of sync, it was an understandable and justified decision which fans agreed was a necessary sign of respect.
The marketing campaign for Deadpool has been unique to say the least, so it should come as no surprise that the standee for the movie which will soon start popping up in theaters is as unique as this. In what appears to be a bit of a riff on the poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, Deadpool can be seen sitting on a...throne?
Some time ago, Arrow star Stephen Amell went on a bit of a Twitter rant in regards to his version of Oliver Queen never getting the iconic (but somewhat rather silly) goatee that his comic book counterpart is so well-known for. However, based on recent Tweets from both him and the cast of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, it now appears as if we'll be seeing that classic version of Green Arrow courtesy of some time travel.
Following last night's action-packed instalment of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a new promo has been released for the show's return next month. Based on what we see here, Ward and HYDRA are going to continue to take centre stage, but could the fan-favourite character's long hoped for return to the side of the angels now be impossible?
