You know I love Bruce Willis. You know that he is, in fact, the greatest contemporary badass known to man. You also know that A Good Day To Die Hard was … not the best of the franchise. But it did really well, particularly at the international box office, so the announcement that Fox is preparing for a Die Hard 6 – to be entitled Die Hardest – is probably the least surprising news ever.
The Woman In Black was one of the better scary-book-to-scary-film adaptations I have had the pleasure of seeing. I expected nothing less from Hammer Studios, after all. Now the sequel – handily entitled The Woman In Black: Angel Of Death, so we do not get confused – is getting all set to start filming, with the first proper round of casting news as well as a plot synopsis.

Reboots are kind of make or break nowadays. We have the critical successes, like Batman Begins, and we have the not-quite-successes, like The Amazing Spider-Man or The Incredible Hulk. Although, The Amazing Spider-Man is still getting a sequel and the Hulk did appear in The Avengers, so maybe it really does not matter.

Whatever you think of them, they are certainly hot commodities and they have now joined what is perhaps the most epic game of ‘Tag’ ever, as both sign up for New Line’s comedy Tag Brothers.

I have this weird affection for Zack Snyder’s epic 300, based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel of the same name. I mean, the dialogue was atrocious and the politics/acting/directing really left something to be desired, but … Gerard Butler and Michael Fassbender in leather bikinis! I’m just going to have to accept that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is happening after all. There’s no way around it, although I'm still trying to live in denial. The main characters have all been cast, including the four Heroes in the Half-Shell, and their spunky female reporter friend. The most recent news for the Michael Bay-produced reboot includes Danny Woodburn taking on the role of the Turtles’ mentor and teacher Splinter.
