So many icons have been unearthed with lackluster results, but Don Mancini's foul-mouthed, killer doll Chucky is looking to turn that trend around. After getting married and having a child, it looks like Chucky is going back to his seriously horrifying roots with the upcoming sequel/reboot titled Curse Of Chucky, which will be released digitally at the end of September.

Why You Should Meet Me At This Year’s New York City Horror Film Festival
Back in November 2012, I attended the New York City Horror Film Festival for the first time. Why was it only my first time? Honestly, I can't answer that question, because I was living right outside the Big Apple all my life, and horror became my favorite genre sometime in my college years. No excuse, but since I was lucky enough to attend as a press member, being my first actual festival experience for We Got This Covered, I'd say it was worth the wait.

Nostalgia Doesn’t Suck: Five Movies You Loved As A Kid (That Are Actually Pretty Good)
Let's face it, before our cinematic tastes were fully developed, we had some rather questionable movie choices as children. Go ahead, look back at your movie collection. Aside from the staple Disney classics that every child should grow up knowing, you've probably got a stack of cartoons and live-action ridiculousness your parents dreaded popping into your VCR. Wait, sorry, I forgot some of you reading this won't know such an archaic method of playing movies, being born directly into the DVD generation of now. Don't worry, VHS tapes were just another way of playing movies at home, except they required actual rewinding, were big and clunky, and ruined your night if the film went off its track. A DVD scratch is nothing compared to a twisted VHS tape.

Bad Milo! Review
In the horror/comedy game originality is everything, and luckily for Bad Milo!, there's plenty of genre-mashing fun worth its weight in gold - shit covered gold. Usually it's not good when a movie pulls half of its scenes out of someone's ass, but in the case of this Ken Marino led creature feature, we're actually excited any time our monster crawls out of our main character's poop-shoot. Bad Milo! is a heartwarming story of love, dealing with your demons, murderous vengeance, and grossly inappropriate laughs. Sure, our little friend Milo may be bad, but Jacob Vaughan's movie is oh-so-good.

Butcher Boys Review
Oh boy, a movie from the creator of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre himself, Tobe Hooper! Wait, it's not Tobe Hooper? Kim Henkel? Butcher Boys was adapted by the guy who collaborated with Tobe Hooper on the story for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (and also produced), and you're going to market this as "From The Creator Of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" - well if that isn't some deceptive tomfoolery...

Alright, whatever, I'm going to admit right off the bat I've been a fan of these two ever since I saw Reno 911! (yes, I'm showing my age by saying The State was before my time), so I just couldn't hold back the fandom that was waiting to burst out of me. I mean, here I was sitting down with Lieutenant Jim Dangle and Deputy Travis Junior, two characters on one of my favorite TV shows of all time, in the legendary Friars Club - I was legitimately nervous.

The State Reunion “More Plausible Than It’s Ever Been”
Before MTV sold its soul for trashy reality television and awards shows populated with twerking young stars, it showed actual music videos, stood for everything the mainstream wasn't, and aired content that was both entertaining and creative. MTV was one big middle finger, sticking it to "The Man" every chance it got, but that era is now long gone, and one I unfortunately never got to fully experience.

Getaway Review
You know how Hollywood car chases can sometimes be chaotic, loud, smashy, and too overbearing? Well, Getaway is about 90 minutes of that forced upon you through ADD-styled filmmaking, as we enter the driver's seat of a souped up Shelby Super Snake Mustang in the very first scene, and we're never let back out. The film might have been better titled "Courtney Solomon Shows Us How Many Ways He Can Flip A Car," or "Try To Catch This Car Chasing Action While Your Head Spins," or simply "Vroom Vroom, Bang Bang, Explosion Sounds, Let Me Out!" There's often pleasure to be found in simplicity, especially concerning the action genre, but unfortunately this fast and furious thrill ride is much better at causing headaches, confusion, and unwanted laughs. F*ck it, get out of here, just drive!

Nato And Remy’s Last Stand: Horror Characters Who Turned The Tables On Their Attackers
You don't have many options when you find yourself stuck in a horror movie. You can try hiding like a bitch, probably ending with you dying an equally cowardly death, or you can fight back, which would at least grant you the death of a courageous hero. Might as well fight back against the horror villain chasing you and your friends around, right? You don't want to go out with your tail between your legs, do you? Yeah, easy for you to say while not being stalked by Jason Voorhees.
