One of the last people to find out about the coronavirus was actor Jared Leto. The Oscar winner was away on a 12 day meditation in the desert without any technology or outside communication. That’s the most Jared Leto thing ever by the way.
One of the few shared universes that have managed to become successful besides the MCU is Universal’s Conjuring franchise. The Conjuring was a massive hit back in 2013 and has since spawned multiple spinoff series including Annabelle, The Nun and The Curse of La Llorona. Say what you will of the quality of them, but they’ve made Universal a lot of money.
Did you ever have those arguments with your friends when you were young about who would win in a fight? It was usually either about which friend’s dad would win (weirdly) or it was about action movie characters/superheroes. Personally, I remember arguing whether a predator or alien would win. And then we sort of got our answer with the 2004 film, Alien vs. Predator.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, numerous television and movie productions have shut down to avoid spreading it. Among them is Halloween Kills, which is a sequel to the 2018 Halloween. The movie is in the post-production phase, but additional work was needed, including some heavy breathing.
At the moment, the best solution we have in combating or spreading the coronavirus is to self quarantine. The term “social distancing” has entered the lexicon as a result and we are now all trying to pass the time in the comfort of our own homes.
It’s been a decade since we last saw any interpretation of A Nightmare on Elm Street. The 2010 version was a remake/reboot of the series starring Jackie Earle Haley (remember him?) as Freddy Krueger and was a mostly forgettable horror movie save for featuring an early role for future Oscar nominee Rooney Mara.
