New Guinness World Record Set For Dance, Dance, Revolution

On July 28th, Carrie Swidecki, a 35 year old public school teacher from Bakersfield, CA, broke the previously set world record on Dance, Dance, Revolution. The previous record was 13 hours 33 minutes 56 seconds, set in the United Kingdom during October, 2010. Swidecki broke the Guinness World Record for Longest Marathon on a Dance / Rhythm Game. While playing Dance, Dance, Revolution in Charleston, West Virginia, she broke the record, earning a time of 15 hours, 17 minutes and 44 seconds.

Brink: Agents Of Change DLC Available August 3rd

Bethesda Softworks has announced an August 3rd release date for the upcoming DLC for Brink, aptly named Agents of Change. Bethesda is giving away free copies of the DLC for the first two weeks after it is released. The DLC will feature two new districts for players to battle their way through.

Major League Gaming (MLG) Invades Southern California

Straight from the record breaking competition in Columbus, Ohio, professional gamers, hopeful amateurs, and thousands of fans will be flocking to Anaheim, California as the Pro Circuit competition once again graces the Anaheim Convention Center. Competitors from around the world will battle for the $120,000 in prizes and stipends. From July 29^th-31^st players will compete while playing some of the most popular games released on the latest systems.

The First Templar Set To Release On May 10th

Bioware Discusses Star Wars: The Old Republic Testing And Launch Date

In an interview on VG247 with Bioware’s associate producer Cory Butler, the developer revealed the narrative impact of flashpoints on players and the gameplay planned for the MMORPG. "Flashpoints in Star Wars: The Old Republic are action-packed, story-driven adventures that put a group of players up against difficult foes in sticky situations.

Bethesda Sweetens The Rage Pre-Order With Exclusive Content

Bethesda has announced today that those who pre-order their copy of RAGE from a North American Gamestop, Amazon.com, Steam and Direct-to-Drive will be automatically upgraded to the “Anarchy Edition” and will receive exclusive content. You'll get four exclusive in-game items. These include a double barrel shotgun, Crimson Elite Armor, Fists of RAGE (spiked brass knuckles) and a car called the "Rat Rod Buggy.
