‘She forced her way in…’: Is Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson really controlling his post-NFL career?

It's not just the age-gap that is bothering fans of the NFL coach anymore.

If you’ve been following all the revelations and exposés about Bill Belichick‘s much younger girlfriend Jordon Hudson and the many things she has allegedly done to control her boyfriend’s professional engagements, will it be too shocking if we hand you yet another rumor of how she has taken the reins of the revered football coach’s post-NFL career?

Since redirecting the 73-year-old sports icon’s CBS Sunday Morning interview to evade the question of how they met each other, Hudson, 24, has been making the headlines for all sorts of things that paint her as a high-handed and domineering presence in her beau’s life.

The latest of which comes from a Page Six source claiming that Hudson inserted herself into Belichick’s high-profile Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl commercial. According to the source, Hudson insisted on joining the star-studded ad so she could appear alongside Belichick, Ben Affleck, and Casey Affleck in matching Dunkin’ tracksuits.

“She forced her way in…. but Bill saw it as a way for her to get paid. People said they’ve never seen anything like it,” noted the source. Hudson did not have speaking lines, but she managed to get screen time as she pumped her fist in sync with the Afflecks.

However, it seems what Hudson did was not just a cameo — it was a signal. According to former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre, Hudson has become Belichick’s “de facto agent,” wielding the kind of access and control over the six-time Super Bowl champ that insiders say is starting to affect major business decisions.

“[Hudson is] the person who you need to go through to book Bill Belichick… She’s the gateway,” Torre explained on his podcast Pablo Torre Finds Out.

From sideline to center stage: Hudson’s alleged control over Belichick

As previously reported, Hudson may have been responsible for the scrapped Hard Knocks docuseries that would have featured Belichick’s job as a coach at the University of North Carolina following his NFL career.

Insiders said Hudson allegedly demanded an executive producer credit in the project and access to daily footage from the set. She also reportedly wanted the NFL Films execs to treat her with respect or lose access to Belichick’s intellectual property. Seeing how grueling the production process would be with her involved, the execs ultimately decided to scrap the docuseries.

While it may have been a gesture of love, she unwittingly seconded claims of her control over her boyfriend’s life when she filed 14 federal trademark applications in April via her self-made company, Trouble Cub Enterprises, to reclaim catchphrases coined by the former New England Patriots general manager, such as “Do Your Job” and “Ignore the Noise.” It felt like she was inspired by Taylor Swift when she did this, since she put “(Bill’s Version)” in her applications.

Of course, nothing could top the viral CBS interview which hinted at Hudson’s alleged overbearing involvement in Belichick’s life. During the segment, she was caught on camera interrupting reporter Tony Dokoupil when the latter asked personal questions. The segment aired with Dokoupil describing the former cheerleader as a “constant presence” around Belichick, and how she interrupted the interview a lot many times than the one disruption the interview included in the final edit.

Of course, rumors would still fly if Hudson had preferred to be Belichick’s arm candy and remained on the sidelines. As for her reported power play and domination over the former NFL legend’s life, the man has defended his choice to make her a part of his life and the continued barbs being aimed at her despite his past rule to not talk about his personal life. Rumors and speculations aside, the only thing that can be said with certainty here is that Belichick won’t let the naysayers affect his perception of his girlfriend.
