YG and HYBE finally address BTS’ V and BLACKPINK Jennie’s dating rumors

At least they said something.

Perhaps no one is keen on killing this love – just yet. On May 17, the enchanting streets of Paris bore witness to what appeared to be a romantic rendezvous between BTS’ V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie, which naturally sent the internet into a frenzy.

The videos that surfaced from this alleged encounter have sparked intense speculation among their devoted fans. As both idols are known to be currently in the love capital of Europe for work, some prying eyes seem to have captured the two musicians walking hand-in-hand at night. To the surprise of many, both HYBE and YG Entertainment have now emerged to shed light on the matter, putting out a brief attempt to end the swirling rumors.

“We don’t know because it’s the artist’s private life”.

The rumors of their relationship ran amok in 2022 when a few pictures allegedly containing the two K-Pop idols emerged upon being leaked. During that time, YG Entertainment was the sole voice to address the speculation, leading to a swift decline in the rumors’ momentum. Although incredibly brief, both statements offered the desired intention among the artist’s legion of fans, who were wishing for at least a small acknowledgment from any of the companies.

The aforementioned videos, in which two people resembling the two K-Pop idols are seen together, have received mixed reactions from all internet circles. While some fans were more than supportive regarding their artist’s possible public relationship – which would have been the first of its kind for BTS – many others were understandably reluctant to believe the images, as a result of the competitive fanbase’s constant bickering on social media.

While HYBE has not once made a statement of that nature regarding any of the BTS members before, YG Entertainment often comes forward with its downright hilarious dismissive statements where they simply wish not to meddle in their artist’s private life. And perhaps, it would be time for fans to do the same.
