Dark Horse And Valve Team Up For Comic Collection

Publisher Dark Horse Comics today made the announcement that they are teaming up with Valve in order to release a comic compilation, called Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and Other Steam-Powered Stories. It will contain stories from three of their popular titles.

Publisher Dark Horse Comics today made the announcement that they are teaming up with Valve in order to release a comic compilation, called Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and Other Steam-Powered Stories. It will contain stories from three of their popular titles.

The hardcover art book will have over 300 pages of story, feature cover art from Valve artist Jason Brashill as well as interior artwork from some of the developer’s other artists. This compilation includes comics from Left 4 Dead 1/2, Team Fortress 2 and Portal 2. Some of the stories gamers may be familiar with that will be included are Left 4 Dead: The Sacrifice and Portal 2: Lab Rat.

This announcement goes along with the recent revelation that the company would be releasing another Mass Effect 2 comic series, titled Mass Effect: Invasion. Its literary ventures will definitely help the company gain the interest of more of the gamer audience. Some of the other video game related titles the company has released include various series of Star Wars: The Old Republic comics and The Art of Alice: Madness Returns.

Fans can expect to pick up Valve Presents: The Sacrifice and Other Steam-Powered Stories on November 16th, 2011. It is currently listed on Dark Horse’s official site for $24.99.
