With Square Enix revising their outlook for the year of 2011, they are pushing back the release date of Deus Ex: Human Revolution from March 8th, 2011, to an undisclosed date after April 1st, 2011 which is the next fiscal year for the company. As a reason for this move, the company said that it was to done to increase the polish on the title.
Square Enix also delayed the PS3 release of Final Fantasy XIV to an undisclosed date as well.
Apparently, Square Enix is reacting to the weak sales seen on 2010’s release roster. On their press release announcing the FFXIV PS3 delay, Square Enix made a point to say that they look to improve upon the existing PC version based on user feedback hoping to ensure “a better game experience”.
