Remember that 3DS sequel to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past that we were previously informed about by the folks from Nintendo? Well, it now has a trailer, thanks to E3, and has a new name: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
What’s new, you ask? Well, for starters, the game has a new, and much more colourful look. Going further, Link now has the ability to turn himself into a flat, two-dimensional image, in order to solve puzzles and get to areas that would otherwise be out of reach.
As a longtime fan of A Link to the Past, and someone who believes that it rivals Ocarina of Time at the top of the series’ Best Of list, I cannot wait to get my grubby little hands on The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Although the new look will take some time to get used to, the classic gameplay that I know and love looks to have been accentuated and modernized.
