Probably more than anyone else on this list, Hal Jordan deserves to be in the Justice League movie. Green Lantern has been a charter member of the League in every practically every version and he’s a fan-favourite character to boot. If nary a mention of the Emerald Knight is made in Justice League, you can be sure that DC fans won’t be happy.

Thankfully, there’s a good chance that Jordan will show up in some form. For one, early posters for the movie ran with the tagline: “Unite the seven.” Which is kind of odd considering we’ve been led to believe there are only six Justice Leaguers in the film. Elsewhere, the internet has been rife with speculation that Armie Hammer has been cast in the role, something that Hammer himself has trolled fans with incessantly. But is that all it is, or is Hammer double bluffing?
